Chocolate Yoghurt Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Crickley Full Cream Milk
  • 1/2 cup Berry or Plain Medium Fat Crickley Yoghurt butter for trying

Method

  • Stir together all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Whisk together the egg, milk and yoghurt in a separate bowl. Add the dry ingredients and stir just to combine, be careful not to over mix the batter, then you will end up with dense and rubbery pancakes.
  • In a large skillet melt a little butter and fry the pancakes over medium heat until the bottom is golden brown and bubbles start to form at the top, about 2-3 min.
  • Flip and cook for about 1-2 min more until golden brown. Serve this delicious breakfast with whatever you like! Honey, fresh berries and melted chocolate are all good options.
